We launched a sort of MVP (minimum viable product) and then improved it iteratively. We quickly built a website and started selling a basic version to consumers—still not fully mature, but more of a prototype.
What could be interesting is allowing people who have a product prototype to actually sell it (maybe not at the full price, since it’s a prototype). I think there needs to be a real sale, otherwise it never really feels accurate. There’s often a big gap between what people say they would do and what they actually do.
When we launched our project, the timing was right and we didn’t really need to test our offering. Still, it would have been very helpful to get support on that!
